Credit Controller - Mansfield
Salary: £28,000 + up to £3,000 annual bonus + benefits
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30-5:00, Friday 9:00-3:00 (office-based)

Macildowie are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a leading, long-established manufacturing and distribution business in Mansfield to recruit a Credit Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing, close-knit finance team in a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

The Role

You'll take ownership of your own ledger, managing the full credit control process from start to finish. This includes building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring cash is collected on time, and maintaining clean, accurate ledgers. You'll also provide support to the wider finance function with ad hoc administrative tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end credit control for your allocated accounts.
• Proactively chase overdue debt and resolve aged items.
• Partner with sales reps and customer service teams to resolve queries.
• Review and monitor credit limits, terms, and reconciliations.
• Post and allocate cash, raise credits, set up new accounts, and load invoices onto customer portals.
• Support daily invoicing across multiple ledgers within the group.
• Assist with month-end close routines and reporting.
