Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior/Senior (Temporary for c3-Months)
Location: Leicestershire
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time preferred, but part-time also considered
A leading professional services firm based in Leicestershire is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior/Senior to join their team on a 3-month temporary basis. This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in accounting and taxation to work closely with business owners across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed accounts working files, summaries, and discussion points for managers or partners.
- Produce personal and corporate tax computations, including provisions for accounts.
- Ensure statutory and relevant disclosures are included in line with industry requirements.
- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines, ensuring all client deliverables are met on time.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, including handling non-technical matters such as debt collection.
- Plan and control your own workload, while seeking opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
About the Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate will be part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA (or equivalent).
- They will have proven experience in accounts preparation and tax within a professional services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge in accounting and taxation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, with confidence in client-facing situations.
- The candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on delivering practical solutions.
- The successful candidate will be highly organised
- Proficiency in using accounting and tax software
- Able to work in the office M-F
