Finance Analyst

Finance Analyst | Permanent | Hybrid | North Leicestershire

Macildowie are working with a client based in North Leicestershire on a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join a thriving, fast-paced business in the manufacturing industry.

This is a hybrid role offering the chance to work closely with both operational and financial teams, supporting the production of timely, accurate reporting and insightful analysis across cost, stock and margin. Working directly with the Financial Controller, you'll play a critical role in monitoring performance and driving process improvements across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate gross margin and customer profitability analysis
• Report on product-level profitability
• Analyse stock, production costs, and bill of materials
• Monitor and report on headcount and labour efficiency
• Prepare import reports and monthly stock provisions
• Manage VAT returns and duty reconciliations
• Contribute to budget and forecast cycles
• Identify and support cost-saving initiatives
• Support audit processes and ad-hoc project work

What we're looking for:

• Part or fully qualified AAT or similar
• 2+ years in a finance or analytical role, ideally in a manufacturing or product-driven environment
• Strong Excel skills with a high attention to detail
• Confident communicator with a proactive mindset
• Organised, accurate and adaptable especially in fast-paced environments
