Payroll Administrator - Up to £32,000
Full-Time | Permanent
Location: Derby
A well-established and growing organisation is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join its busy payroll team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely payroll.
The Role
You'll provide essential support to the payroll function, helping ensure monthly payrolls are processed smoothly and in line with legislation. The position involves handling employee data, resolving payroll queries and contributing to the overall efficiency of the payroll department.
Key Responsibilities
Support the processing of monthly payrolls
Maintain accurate payroll and employee records
Assist with starters, leavers and employee changes
Help with statutory payments and deductions
Respond to payroll queries professionally and efficiently
Contribute to improving payroll processes and workflows
What We're Looking For
Minimum of 2 years' payroll experience
Strong understanding of PAYE, NI and statutory requirements
Confident using payroll systems (ResourceLink or SAP is a bonus)
Good Excel and general IT skills
High accuracy, excellent numeracy and strong attention to detail
Organised, reliable and comfortable working to deadlines
A supportive team player with great communication skills
