Finance Assistant - Credit Control Focus
Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
Type: Permanent
Working Arrangement: Office-based with some flexibility
Macildowie are working with this client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch to recruit a well-rounded Finance Assistant to join a thriving, multi-office professional services organisation.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their finance career. You'll be joining a supportive team, gaining exposure across the full finance function, and supporting multiple offices with credit control and transactional finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily reconciliation of multiple bank accounts
Receipting and debtor allocations
Supporting the senior credit controller with aged debt recovery
Managing transactional finance duties across multiple offices
Involvement across all areas of the finance function
This role would suit someone who has begun or completed their AAT and is comfortable with core accounting principles, including debits and credits.
You'll need to be proactive, numerate, and confident working across different systems and stakeholders. Prior experience within a multi-site, professional services or accountancy-based business would be advantageous.
