Polish-speaking HR and Payroll Advisor
£35,000 - £40,000 | Full Time | Permanent | Office-based (4-day office week)
Location: Milton Keynes

Macildowie are working with this client based in Milton Keynes, a high-growth, US-owned manufacturing business operating in a fast-paced and ever-evolving sector.

With a European turnover of £20m and ambitious plans to more than double their headcount across Europe, this business is moving at pace. Their UK operation is a core part of the group's development, housing R&D and sample production, with increasing involvement in wider production support.

Due to internal restructure and continued growth, they are seeking a Polish-speaking HR and Payroll Advisor to join the team and support with a broad range of duties spanning HR administration, monthly payroll processing, and finance admin support. This newly scoped role will allow the successful candidate to make a real impact, relieving pressure from the Financial Controller and enabling a sharper focus on strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with UK monthly payroll and assist with HR admin tasks
  • Handle Polish-language payroll documentation and translation support
  • Use internal systems to support HR data management and compliance
  • Assist with month-end finance admin - AAT minimum qualification required
  • General office support including audit prep, employee portal admin and reporting
  • Help create a positive office culture - including monthly employee events
  • Liaise with US counterparts, navigating time zone and decision-making challenges

Ideal Candidate:

  • Polish-speaking (essential)
  • Previous experience in payroll and HR administration
  • Confident communicator, with the ability to work independently
  • AAT Level 2 or above, with sound financial admin experience
  • Resilient, with a hands-on approach in a busy SME-style environment
  • Comfortable with occasional office tasks - must not be shy to roll sleeves up
