£40,000 - £45,000 | Permanent | Hybrid Working (2-3 days on-site)
Location: Burton Latimer, Kettering
Macildowie are working with this client based in Burton Latimer to recruit a skilled Payroll Manager for a permanent position within a well-established and financially secure organisation. The Role:
As Payroll Manager, you'll be responsible for end-to-end payroll for c.500 employees across 8 entities. You'll lead compliance efforts, handle reporting, and support the wider finance team in delivering accurate and timely payroll services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle payroll for 500 staff
- Process HMRC submissions (RTI, P11Ds, P60s)
- Lead pension enrolment and compliance
- Support audits, month-end, and year-end processes
- Handle employee payroll queries with professionalism
- Assist Finance team with payment runs and reporting

About You:
- Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll (min. 3 years)
- Comfortable working autonomously
- Sage 50 Payroll experience essential
- Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Solid understanding of payroll legislation
