Finance Business Partner
Job Description
We are working with a well-established organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner into a key commercial role based in Northampton. This position offers high visibility across the business and the opportunity to work closely with senior operational and leadership teams. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days in the office.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent role for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with non-finance stakeholders and influencing decision-making. You'll act as a trusted advisor, providing insight, challenge, and support to drive performance and strategic outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior stakeholders to support financial and commercial decision-making
- Provide high-quality financial analysis, insight, and recommendations
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance review processes for your business area
- Challenge assumptions and support cost control, margin improvement, and growth initiatives
- Develop and present clear, actionable reporting for non-finance audiences
- Support business cases, investment appraisals, and strategic projects
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and reporting
- Build strong relationships across finance and operational teams
Candidate Profile
- Qualified or PQ Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercial finance role
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proactive, confident, and solutions-focused
