Finance Analyst

Macildowie are working with an exciting manufacturing client renowned within their sector to support them in their search for a Finance Analyst.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Analyst to join a fast-paced manufacturing business in a commercially focused role. This permanent position offers flexibility along with excellent exposure across operations, procurement, and commercial finance.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
Working Arrangement: Primarily office (based in Leicester)

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering key financial insights to support decision-making across the business. With a strong focus on budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial modelling, you'll play a vital part in driving operational performance and process improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the monthly management accounts process, including variance analysis.
• Building and maintaining robust financial models.
• Analysing manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory movements.
• Assisting in the development of dashboards and BI tools.
• Collaborating closely with procurement and operations on cost control.

What we're looking for:

• 24 years' experience in a similar financial analyst role.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
• Competent systems user.
• Commercial awareness and appetite for learning.
• A proactive individual with a keen eye for detail.
