Credit Risk Financial Analyst
Location: Staffordshire (Hybrid working)
Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday (37.5 hours)
We are a UK-based, FCA-regulated B2B asset finance provider seeking a Credit Risk Financial Analyst to support our Credit and Sales teams through high-quality financial analysis and credit assessments. The role reports to the Head of Credit Risk and focuses on large client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain and review financial information for new and existing client accounts
Conduct financial analysis and support applications for finance facilities
Provide credit assessment feedback to internal stakeholders
Liaise with external credit risk teams
Support process improvements within the Credit function
Develop data sets and benchmarks to enhance credit decision-making
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in credit risk or financial analysis
Strong understanding of financial statements and credit risk assessment
Good Excel skills and strong numerical ability
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and attention to detail
Ability to identify early signs of credit deterioration
Qualifications
Formal qualifications are not essential; relevant experience is key. Qualifications in finance, banking, business, or accounting are desirable.
