Job Description

HR Improvement Manager
Coventry (Onsite), Full-Time (Part-Time considered), £35,000-£45,000 per annum

Are you passionate about driving meaningful change in HR through data, technology, and continuous improvement? We're looking for a dynamic HR Improvement Manager to join our clients team in Coventry.

In this role, you'll lead projects that modernise HR systems and processes-bringing structure, automation, and smarter decision-making to how we work. You'll play a pivotal role in enhancing data compliance, improving service delivery, and embedding agile ways of working across the function.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive Data Control & Compliance:
Overhaul data storage and compliance, including restructuring historical data in Columbus and redesigning SharePoint to support clean, accessible HR records.
  • Unify and Improve Reporting:
Streamline inconsistent reporting practices across teams (including payroll and HR) and build a smarter, centralised approach to data analysis and insights.
  • Lead Agile Improvement Projects:
Prioritise and manage improvement initiatives based on real-time data insights. Inject momentum and clarity into projects and track progress efficiently.
  • Embed New Digital Tools:
Drive automation of bonus and pay review processes within Workday. Help introduce new technologies such as chatbots to manage tier-zero queries.
  • Develop a Culture of Continuous Improvement:
Use feedback and analytics to identify gaps, update SOPs, run customer surveys, and maintain training materials and comms across the People Helpdesk.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in HR transformation, operations or improvement roles
  • Strong technical skills in Excel and reporting; familiarity with Workday is highly desirable
  • Confident in leading projects, working cross-functionally, and engaging stakeholders
  • A genuine interest in emerging tech and its use in HR, including AI and automation
  • Experience designing or working with SharePoint or similar document management systems
  • Agile mindset and a passion for improving employee experience through data and innovation
