Temporary HR Administrator / Officer
Job Description
Macildowie are working with this client based in Solihull to recruit an HR Assistant on a temporary basis for around three months initially, offering hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week in the office and two from home.
This organisation operates within a manufacturing-led environment and is seeking an experienced and reliable HR professional to support UK and Group HR functions during a busy period.
Pay Rate: £15 - £18 per hour plus holiday pay
Contract Type: Temporary
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - minimum three days per week onsite (Solihull)
The Role:
Reporting into the HR Business Partner, this role will provide hands-on HR administrative and coordination support across payroll preparation, recruitment administration, onboarding and HR data management. The position plays a key role in ensuring payroll accuracy, strong HR governance and consistent HR processes across the UK business.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and collate monthly UK payroll data, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
Process changes for starters, leavers, pay adjustments, bonuses and absences
Support recruitment administration including advert posting, interview scheduling and candidate communication
Coordinate onboarding activities and pre-employment checks
Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data
Support headcount reporting and HR management information
Provide general administrative support to the HR Business Partner
About You:
You will have prior experience in HR administration or coordination, ideally with exposure to payroll preparation. You'll be highly organised, detail-oriented and confident working with Excel and HR systems. A professional and discreet approach is essential.
