Part-Time HR Manager (16-20 hrs/week)
Are you a hands-on HR professional looking for a flexible, part-time role?
You'll take ownership of day-to-day HR operations, from contracts through to onboarding and benefits, helping keep our lean, distributed team of approximately 35-40 employees and contractors happy and compliant.
What You'll Do
- End-to-end HR administration: onboarding, offboarding, contracts and amendments
- Payroll coordination: enter starters, leavers and adjustments into ADP; review and submit monthly pay runs
- HR systems management: maintain employee records in BambooHR and ADP
- Benefits champion: review packages and ensure employees understand and engage with them
- First point of HR contact: answer queries and advise managers on best practices
- Contractor support: onboard European contractors and ensure smooth invoice/pay processes
- Policy upkeep: keep documentation and handbooks aligned with UK employment law
About You
- Proven track record in a hands-on HR role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and payroll processes
- Confidence with HRIS tools (BambooHR, ADP or similar)
- Self-starter who takes ownership and works independently
- Excellent communicator, able to build rapport across a dispersed team
- Flexible and pragmatic, thriving in an evolving business environment
