Location: Nottingham (Hybrid / Flexible Working)
Salary: Up to £50,000 depending on experience
Contract Type: Permanent
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a purpose-led organisation in Nottingham as a Senior HR Business Partner. This is a key position within the HR team, offering the chance to provide both strategic and operational support across a values-driven and growing organisation.
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, and with one direct report, you will play a pivotal role in shaping HR policy, leading on employee relations, and supporting long-term workforce development. Key Responsibilities
- Lead on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations
- Provide expert HR advice, guidance, and coaching to managers and teams
- Contribute to HR policy development and strategic workforce planning
- Partner with senior leaders across governance, finance, and operational areas
- Drive key people metrics including retention, engagement, and wellbeing
- Support leadership and organisational development initiatives
- Opportunity to develop the role into a blended HR and Learning & Development focus
About You
- Proven HR generalist experience, ideally at HR Business Partner level
- Strong employee relations expertise and experience managing complex casework
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver at pace
- Evidence of stability and impact in previous HR roles
- CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Experience gained within public, private, or mixed-sector environments
