Macildowie are working with this client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch to recruit a Sales & Purchasing Coordinator for an established business operating within the commercial interiors and workplace solutions sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and growing team where no two days are the same. You'll play a key role supporting furniture projects from initial enquiry through to installation, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The Role

As Sales & Purchasing Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of furniture packages from enquiry through to completion
  • Producing quotations and product specifications
  • Purchasing furniture and placing supplier orders
  • Coordinating deliveries and installation schedules
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and project teams
  • Managing project documentation using SharePoint
  • Updating project management systems with opportunities and orders
  • Checking supplier acknowledgements and purchase invoices
  • Supporting project close-out activities
  • Maintaining supplier relationships and furniture pricing information
  • Providing general administration support across the team

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous purchasing or procurement administration experience
  • Excellent organisation and administration skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • A proactive, positive approach to work
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable experience includes:

  • Logistics knowledge
  • Experience within commercial interiors, furniture or office-based project environments
  • Mac OS familiarity
  • An interest in workplace design or interiors
