Communities Programme Operations Coordinator
Leicester | Hybrid Working
£29,000 - £34,000 per annum | Full-Time

Macildowie are working with this client based in Leicester to recruit a Communities Programme Operations Coordinator for a growing not-for-profit organisation that is making a genuine difference to young people's lives through the power of sport.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious organisation as it expands into Leicester, helping to establish and grow a new community programme from the ground up. You'll play a pivotal role behind the scenes, ensuring football sessions are delivered efficiently while building strong relationships across the local community.

The Role

This is a varied operational position where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day delivery of community programmes, ensuring coaches, venues and participants are all supported to create an exceptional experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating weekly football sessions, schedules and coach allocations
  • Booking and managing community venues and facilities
  • Acting as a key contact for parents, schools and local community partners
  • Maintaining programme administration and operational systems
  • Supporting the growth of programmes across Leicester
  • Resolving day-to-day operational challenges quickly and effectively
  • Monitoring attendance, records and programme data
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery

About You

You'll be an organised and proactive coordinator who enjoys building relationships and keeping multiple moving parts running smoothly.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in programme, operations or project coordination
  • A keen interest in Football 
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working within community, charity, education, sport or youth environments would be advantageous
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Passion for making a positive impact within local communities
