Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing business to recruit a Product Manager into their Product team.
Reporting into the Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in driving new product development and managing the full product lifecycle, working closely with design, supply chain, commercial, and marketing teams.
The Role
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development and ongoing performance of online categories. This is a hands-on role offering real ownership, variety, and the opportunity to influence both product strategy and execution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading new and existing product development from concept through to launch.
- Managing the product roadmap in line with brand strategy and market trends.
- Working closely with the in-house design team to develop production-ready specifications.
- Sourcing, briefing, and managing suppliers to meet cost, quality, and feasibility targets.
- Overseeing sampling, prototyping, testing, and product approvals.
- Managing product lifecycle activity including performance reviews, updates, refreshes, and rationalisation.
- Analysing sales data, customer feedback, and competitor insight to support decision-making.
- Collaborating with supply chain on lead times, critical paths, and supplier performance.
- Supporting commercial and marketing teams with pricing input, forecasting, and product launch activity.
- Building strong supplier relationships across China and Vietnam, including international travel where required.
About You
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Product Management or Product Development within retail
- Proven experience taking products from concept through to launch.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales and cost data.
- Confident stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with international suppliers and comfort travelling overseas.
- A proactive, organised, and detail-focused approach.
- A creative mindset with a strong awareness of design and consumer trends.
