Job Description

Macildowie are working with this client based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire on the appointment of a Marketing Manager. This full‑time, fixed-term contract (10.5 - 11 months) role is office‑based with one day working from home per week. There is also an option to work from Castle Donington (up to 2 days per week) if you are based closer to there.

This is a broad‑based marketing position within a specialist division of a larger group, with responsibility for developing and driving B2B digital lead generation activity. Whilst this is an autonomous role within the Marketing department, you will have regular support from your Marketing colleagues within the wider group. Reporting into senior marketing leadership and working closely with the sales team, you will take ownership of digital campaigns, CRM performance, analytics, reporting and strategic activity to increase quality enquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage digital lead generation campaigns across SEO, PPC and website optimisation, working closely with external agency partners.
  • Maintain and evolve the newly launched website, using analytics and user data to improve conversion rates and content quality.
  • Own and report on performance using HubSpot CRM, email marketing tools, Hotjar and Google Analytics.
  • Deliver monthly and bi-monthly reports, including board-level marketing performance summaries and recommendations.
  • Maximise value from paid media and SEO through the agency retainer relationships already in place.
  • Manage marketing activity around trade exhibitions and events, including a major industry event in September.
  • Coordinate and develop content including blog posts, email campaigns, and digital case studies, ensuring tone of voice aligns to business goals.
  • Lead social media strategy and support content execution alongside the wider marketing team.
  • Support the business development function by identifying market trends, monitoring competitors, and enhancing campaign targeting.
  • Build strong working relationships with sales, operations, and group marketing colleagues to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Oversee customer feedback and satisfaction surveys to inform future marketing efforts.

What We're Looking For:

  • A proven B2B marketer with at least 3+ years' experience, ideally in a lead generation and digitally focused role.
  • Understanding of SEO, PPC, content creation, and website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Hotjar).
  • Hands-on experience using CRM platforms (preferably HubSpot) for email marketing, segmentation and performance reporting.
  • Commercially aware: You understand how marketing impacts the wider sales cycle and can use data to influence strategy.
  • Collaborative and personable: Able to form effective working relationships across departments and work well in a small, high-performance team.
  • Highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
