    We are currently working with one of our esteemed clients in Derby, who is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to be part of their dedicated team. As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in their credit risk management efforts, ensuring new customer on boarding, accuracy, and protection against fraudulent applications.

    Job Title: Credit Risk Analyst

    Location: Derby

    Hybrid 3 days in the office & 2 from home

    If you have previous experience as a Credit control and have strong analytical experience this would be a great position for you.

    As a Credit Risk Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

    • Efficient customer on boarding and master data processes.
    • Diligent recording of all communications.
    • Making sound credit decisions to protect the business.
    • Application and maintenance of key controls.
    • Management of the departmental email inbox.
    • Timely and accurate processing of master data changes.
    • A sharp eye for detail and an innate sense for credit risk.
    • Addressing and resolving customer issues via email and telephone.
    • Providing holiday coverage for team members.
    • Developing excellent customer service for both internal and external customers.
    • Ensuring strict adherence to company policies.
    • Collaborating with the commercial business unit.
    • Undertaking other duties as requested by the line manager.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    To excel in this role, candidates should:

    • Possess a proven track record for reliability and outstanding performance, with an emphasis on credit control.
    • Have experience in credit control and risk management, demonstrating the ability to identify and mitigate credit risks effectively.
    • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, where accuracy is paramount.
    • Preferably studying the Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM), although this is not essential.
