Job Description
My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Administrator to join their Customer Service Centre team.
You will be responsible for controlling maintenance on a range of vehicles, ensuring that all incidents are progressed through to completion, and maintaining accurate records.
Main Responsibilities
- To provide a customer-focused service, working closely with colleagues to deliver high levels of service delivery.
- To ensure all incoming calls are answered promptly and in line with our service centre terms of service.
- To select suitable suppliers for maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effective options are used whenever possible.
- To coordinate breakdown and call handling incidents, adhering to customer SLAs and special procedures.
- To maintain individual incident records, noting all conversations and progress made.
- To control maintenance, breakdown, and accident expenditure on a range of equipment and contracts.
- To facilitate technical matters, ensuring best value cost & quality levels are achieved for customers.
- To authorise expenditure within agreed limits, ensuring all maintenance records/contract processes are followed.
- To liaise with Maintenance Control Manager/Fleet Engineers/Contract Managers/Customer on servicing and MOT requirements.
- To ensure all maintenance records are kept up to date through our supplier portal.
- To adhere to procedures and report any incidents of non-compliance.
- To drive down repair costs and rates by working with Fleet Engineers to utilise the most cost-effective resources.
Person Specification
- Experience working in a fast-paced, demanding customer environment, with a flexible approach to meeting customer needs.
- Self-motivated and able to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats.
- Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision and be a team player.
- Well-organised, taking ownership of tasks and being able to work to detail.
- High level of UK geographical knowledge and a good standard of education at GCSE level.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, an understanding of Maintenance Management Systems would be advantageous.
This is a permanent role to start ASAP. The role is office based.
