A well-established and market-leading engineering manufacturer based in Mansfield is looking to recruit a proactive and highly organised Sales Administrator to support its busy internal sales and customer service operations.

The Role:
As Sales Administrator, you will act as a vital point of contact between the sales team, customers, and internal departments. Your key focus will be on processing orders accurately, handling customer enquiries, and supporting the sales team with quotations, lead times, and documentation.
You will need excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied and fast-paced workload in a technical and industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Process sales orders and quotations using internal ERP/CRM systems
Liaise with customers on order progress, delivery times, and product availability
Work closely with the sales, production, and dispatch teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
Support the sales team in preparing tender documents and price lists
Handle inbound enquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner
Maintain accurate records of customer communications and orders
Provide after-sales administrative support where needed
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in a sales support or administration role (engineering/manufacturing background preferred)
Comfortable working with order processing and customer databases (e.g., ERP, SAP, Sage, or similar systems)
Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise under pressure
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Team player with a proactive and customer-focused approach
