Job Description

Framework Administrator

We're seeking a proactive, adaptable individual who thrives on variety and can manage multiple workloads effectively. You don't need a background in law, health, or government - training will be provided. What matters most is being highly organised, detail-focused, comfortable with data and systems, and confident in handling changing priorities.

Location: Nottingham (hybrid - 2 days office / 3 days home once established)

Reports to: Framework Manager

Pay: 28-30k

About the Role

The Framework Assistant is an important member of the Framework Team, working within Legal Operations. The team manages key client frameworks across local government and health sectors, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and excellent client service.

This role involves keeping frameworks and processes up to date in response to changes in legislation, client requirements, or government policy. You'll work closely with lawyers, central teams, and clients, acting as a first point of contact when needed. It's a varied position that requires adaptability, strong administration skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage allocated client frameworks, accounts, and service levels.

  • Review framework agreements and update protocols in line with legislative or client changes.

  • Maintain accurate client account plans, internal records, and databases.

  • Produce and coordinate MI/KPI reports, revenue updates, and client reporting requirements.

  • Update and monitor client portals, ensuring compliance with client-specific requirements.

  • Support audits, tenders, and meetings; follow up on actions and provide updates.

  • Act as a key contact for clients and fee earners, providing guidance and resolving queries.

  • Support billing, revenue processes, and rebates alongside the Framework Revenue Assistant.

  • Adapt quickly to changing demands, deadlines, and external developments.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong administration and data management skills; confident using systems and databases.

  • Ability to adapt to change and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills, able to build relationships with colleagues and clients.

  • Confident working independently as well as part of a wider team.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

  • Background in environments with frequent change (e.g., higher education, public sector, projects) would be advantageous.
