Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Nuneaton/Hybrid
Contract: Full Time, 6-Month Fixed Term Contract
We are working with a leading manufacturing business that produces some of the UK's best-loved household brands. They are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team in Nuneaton on a fixed-term basis.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting both finance and operational teams while playing a key role in business performance.
The Role
As Assistant Management Accountant, you will support the finance function with key responsibilities including:
Production Data Recording Collating and recording timely and accurate production data on a daily and weekly basis.
Weekly Reconciliations Producing accurate and timely reconciliations for production, ensuring operations remain within budget.
Stock Management Assisting with stock integrity and management across WIP, finished goods, and packaging.
Operational Collaboration Working closely with operational teams to ensure accurate material data recording.
Wastage Reporting Producing accurate weekly wastage reports for operational analysis and improvement.
Capacity & Volume Planning Assisting with capacity analysis and volume planning when required.
Purchase Order Process Managing PO processes for relevant factory areas, ensuring smooth order raising and invoicing.
Budget & Forecast Support Assisting the Management Accountant in preparing budget and forecast elements.
You'll thrive in this role if you:
Are studying towards, or have completed, AAT / CIMA / ACCA QBE also considered
Have previous experience working in a finance team.
Are highly skilled in Microsoft Excel (AX Dynamics experience advantageous).
Are confident liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
Can work to tight deadlines in a financial environment.
Have a proactive mindset and are keen to challenge and improve processes.
