Finance Analyst / Management Accountant
Location: Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office (Nottingham)
Salary: The successful candidate will be paid £42,000 - £48,000 depending on experience. There is also an annual bonus.

A leading global retail group is looking for a talented Finance Analyst / Management Accountant to join their Group Reporting team and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting and performance analysis to support decision-making across the business.
About the Role
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to produce accurate, insightful monthly reporting and performance analysis that helps shape strategic decisions. This is a great opportunity to move beyond the month-end routine and focus on adding real value through analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
Key responsibilities include:
Producing clear, accurate monthly board and management reports.
Analysing performance to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
Supporting forecasting and strategic planning processes.
Working with teams across the business to drive performance and improve reporting quality.
Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data used for reporting.
Continuously improving reporting processes and tools to enhance efficiency and insight.
The Candidate
You're a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong analytical and communication skills. You're confident working with large datasets, comfortable with Excel and business reporting tools, and able to present complex information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
- Proven ability to analyse and interpret financial performance.
- Confident communicator with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with D365 or Cognos (desirable).
