Job Description
Finance Manager - £45,000 to £50,000 per annum
Location: Nottingham
Type: Full-time, Permanent
An established and growing business within the construction and safety equipment sector is seeking a Finance Manager to take ownership of its finance function and play a key role in supporting continued growth.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to manage a small, established team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and cash flow management.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior management.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Support strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including VAT, HMRC filings, and year-end audits.
- Manage and mentor a small finance team.
- Work closely with operational managers to support business performance and efficiency.
About You:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or QBE with solid commercial experience.
- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of management accounts, reporting, and financial control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Confident using accounting software and Excel.
- Experience within manufacturing, hire, or construction sectors would be advantageous but not essential.

- Competitive salary of £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience.
