What You'll Be Doing
As the Finance Business Partner for branded products, you will play a key role in shaping commercial decisions and supporting strategic planning. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across Sales and Marketing, providing financial insight that influences pricing, brand strategy, promotional investment and long-term planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the primary finance contact for Sales and Marketing teams, building strong relationships with senior commercial stakeholders.
- Providing financial insight to support pricing, costing and commercial decision-making in line with brand strategy and market dynamics.
- Delivering clear analysis and reporting on brand performance, identifying opportunities to optimise profitability.
- Ensuring promotional and marketing costs are accurately captured for transparent brand reporting.
- Supporting financial planning processes, including budget cycles, forecasts and long-term plans.
- Working collaboratively to propose annual price changes and assess market competitiveness.
- Identifying brand growth opportunities and contributing to action plans that drive volume and profit.
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- MUST be Qualified - (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- MUST have worked for a FMCG business
- Excel at building relationships with commercial teams and influencing decision-making.
- Can translate complex financial information into simple, clear insights for non-finance colleagues.
- Are comfortable managing multiple priorities, especially during key financial planning and reporting periods.
- Bring experience in commercial finance, ideally within a fast-paced, product-led environment.
