Job Description
Interim / Temp‑to‑Perm Accounts Payable / AP Processor
Salary / Rate: Up to £15 per hour (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Interim, with strong potential to convert to permanent
Working Arrangement: Hybrid - 4 days in office + 1 day WFH (with flexibility during month‑end: up to 2 WFH days), core hours 09:00-17:00 (with some flexibility around start/finish)
About the Role & Industry
We're working with a fast-growing business in the logistics sector, operating from a modern logistics facility in Northampton. The business is tech-led, high-volume, and focused on driving continuous improvement across their finance and operations teams.
Due to internal changes, there is an immediate requirement for a skilled Accounts Payable professional who can take ownership of the full AP process on an interim basis, with strong potential to go permanent for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, approvals, and payments
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all transactions
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries
- Assist with month-end close and reporting activities
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger roles
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Able to work independently and maintain high standards
- Strong communication skills and team player mentality
- Familiarity with modern finance systems (NetSuite or similar a bonus)
