Location: Hyde (with regular travel to Chesterfield)
Sector: Manufacturing
Hours: 37.5 per week
I am working with a well-established UK manufacturing business, part of a wider international group, to recruit an FP&A Analyst primarily based at their Hyde site, with regular travel to the Chesterfield location.
This is a key role within the finance function, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and operational teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment focused on continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
The Role
The FP&A Analyst will provide insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic support to help drive business performance and operational efficiency across multiple sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering detailed financial analysis, trend reporting, and variance analysis to senior stakeholders
- Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles with a focus on production volumes, cost drivers, and operational efficiency
- Developing financial models to support scenario planning, capacity utilisation, and margin analysis
- Conducting variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Partnering with production and supply chain teams to align financial planning with operational activity
- Working closely with department heads to understand financial requirements and provide decision-support insight
- Analysing manufacturing KPIs including cost per unit, yield, scrap rates, and throughput
- Presenting clear and commercially focused financial insights to senior management
About You
- ACCA or CIMA qualified or part-qualified
- Proven experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Strong financial modelling capability
- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
- Commercially minded with the confidence to present, influence, and challenge senior stakeholders

Working Pattern
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday - on site
- Friday - home based
