Management Accountant

The Role
Supporting the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting while overseeing day-to-day finance operations. This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll have real ownership, visibility across the business, and the chance to make a tangible impact.
You'll be working closely with an Assistant Accountant, helping to guide and develop them, while also partnering with stakeholders across the business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Overseeing Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Reviewing and approving invoices within Oracle NetSuite
- Supporting the production of monthly management accounts and group reporting
- Posting and reviewing journals to maintain accurate financial records
- Completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
- Analysing variances and providing clear, meaningful insight
- Assisting with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packs
- Supporting the Financial Controller with analysis and ad hoc reporting
- Acting as a key point of contact for finance queries across the business
- Mentoring and supporting the Assistant Accountant
What We're Looking For
- Experience preparing management accounts and working within a finance function
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- A hands-on approach with the confidence to get into the detail
- A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to learn and develop
- A people person - someone who enjoys the office environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Good Excel skills and overall confidence with systems (NetSuite experience is a bonus)

Given the nature of the business, you'll also be happy working in a predominantly office-based role.
