Macildowie are working exclusively with this client based in Milton Keynes who are seeking to appoint a People Advisor on a permanent basis.
This role operates on a hybrid basis (3 days office / 2 days WFH).
This is an exciting opportunity within a fast-paced, private sector environment to play a key role in supporting group functions including finance, IT, marketing, and sales. You'll provide hands-on support across the full employee lifecycle, focusing on employee relations, engagement, and supporting managers with people-first, consistent and legally compliant practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to leaders across the employee lifecycle, including flexible working requests, performance, and absence management.
- Support employee relations cases from investigation through to hearings and appeals.
- Contribute to people projects and initiatives, driving a positive and inclusive culture.
- Act as a key liaison for external HR service providers.
- Use HR data and metrics to inform and influence management decisions.
- Stay up to date with employment law and ensure compliance in practice.
About You:
- CIPD Level 3-5 qualified (or equivalent), with strong knowledge of UK employment law.
- Proven experience independently managing complex ER cases.
- Adept at conflict resolution, mediation, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Experience within a private sector, retail, or fast-paced setting is desirable.
This role would suit an experienced People Advisor ready for a new challenge, or an HR Business Partner who is looking for a more hands-on and reactive role.
