HR Manager - Leicester
Are you a people-focused leader with strong team management experience? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation, working closely with the Head of HR on exciting projects and leading a respected HR team.
The Role
As HR Manager, you will lead a team of three (Advisor, Coordinator, and Administrator) and report into as well as work closely with the Head of HR. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the full employee lifecycle for permanent staff, from recruitment through to performance and leavers.
- Supporting employee wellbeing, engagement, and legal compliance.
- Leading HR projects, including system rollouts and process improvements.
- Ensuring compliance checks are completed (right to work, visas, licences, accreditations).
- Providing advice and support on employee relations, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Partnering with leaders across the business to embed best practice in HR policies and processes.
- Supporting the senior HR team in delivering strategy and implementing new initiatives.
This role is about more than policies and processes - it is about supporting colleagues, driving positive change, and ensuring people are set up for success.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience.
- CIPD Level 5 (completed or above).
- Previous experience in a generalist or advisory HR role.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, people-first approach.
- A track record of delivering projects and driving improvements
Location: Leicester (mostly onsite, with some travel as required).
Salary: £49,000p.a
