Macildowie are working with this client based in Birmingham who are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join their expanding HR team.


This permanent opportunity offers hybrid working and provides the chance to be part of a dynamic and supportive HR function within the professional services industry.


As HR Administrator, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of administrative support across the employee lifecycle. From managing onboarding and pre-employment checks to maintaining HR records, actioning leaver processes, and assisting with HR queries, your role will be integral to ensuring smooth and efficient HR operations.

You will also provide support to HR colleagues with meetings, processes, and projects, ensuring a high standard of service delivery across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting onboarding processes, including system updates and paperwork
  • Monitoring and managing pre-employment checks
  • Administering attendance and leaver processes
  • Responding to HR queries promptly and professionally
  • Supporting the wider HR team with ad-hoc meetings and tasks

About you:

  • Previous administration experience (HR administration desirable)
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
  • CIPD Level 3 (advantageous but not essential)
