Fixed Term Contract - (Until June 2025 however, their is the potential of leading to a permanent role)
£35,000 - £40,000 DOE | Hybrid | Financial Services | Leicester City Centre
Macildowie are working exclusively with this client based in Leicester City Centre to recruit an HR Advisor on a fixed-term contract until June 2026, with the potential to become permanent. The Role:
You'll work as part of a friendly and experienced HR function, delivering day-to-day HR support, managing ER cases, advising line managers, and contributing to high-impact people initiatives. This is a varied and busy position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for line manager queries
- Manage low-volume but varied ER cases (mainly performance-based)
- Support disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes
- Assist with internal recruitment campaigns alongside the Talent Partner
- Contribute to internal development processes and promotion backfill
- Play a key role in annual HR projects including bonus schemes, pay reviews and system upgrades
- Ensure best practice and compliance with employment law and internal policy
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or generalist role
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Proactive, adaptable, and hands-on approach
- Comfortable managing ER casework independently
- Financial services or SMCR experience is desirable but not essential
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
The Offer:
- £35,000 - £40,000 salary
- 10% profit share bonus (if permanent)
