HR Coordinator

Fixed-Term Contract (15 months)
Location: Barwell, Leicestershire
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Working Arrangement: Office based however, flexible working hours. (30-37 hours)
Start Date: End November


Macildowie are working with this client based in Barwell to recruit a HR Coordinator for a fixed-term contract of 15 months, with the potential for this role to become permanent.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business in the manufacturing/distribution sector, supporting a well-established HR and Payroll function.

You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations from recruitment coordination and onboarding to documentation, compliance and general HR support. This position is ideal for a proactive HR Administrator looking to take the next step, or an experienced Coordinator looking for a new challenge within a friendly and dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update HR records and personnel files.
  • Manage HR documentation including contracts, letters and policies.
  • Support recruitment processes from job postings to issuing offer letters.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction activities.
  • Be the first point of contact for general HR enquiries.
  • Ensure HR processes comply with internal policies and employment legislation.
  • Provide administrative support for HR audits and reporting.
  • Occasionally support Payroll processes.

What We are Looking For:

  • 1 - 2 years experience in a HR administrative or coordinator role.
  • CIPD Level 3 (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using HRIS systems (preferred).
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive data.
