This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing, people-focused business based in Nottingham as a Business Development Manager within the financial services industry (permanent, full-time).

This permanent, Monday-Friday, hybrid position (typically one day per week from home) offers a basic salary of £30,000 - £40,000 with OTE £50,000 - £60,000 and the potential for top performers to exceed £80,000. You'll join a collaborative, high-energy team that values accountability and autonomy. You'll also be trusted to get the job done in an adult environment, with a relaxed finish on Fridays.

The Role:

  • Build and nurture relationships with financial intermediaries and advisers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Drive proactive outbound sales activity through calls, virtual meetings and event networking.
  • Manage your sales pipeline, keeping Salesforce CRM updated with all leads and progress.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for Senior BDMs to strengthen the client base.
  • Use data and insight to focus efforts and achieve your targets.
  • Stay up to date with financial products and market regulations.

What we're looking for:

  • We are open to speaking to candidates who have had a minimum of 1-2 years' experience - with some capacity of telesales involved in your previous role.
  • A confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, competitive and driven to exceed targets.
  • Ambitious, eager to learn, and keen to build a long-term career in financial services.
