Macildowie are partnering with an established UK manufacturer and market-leading supplier of premium products to recruit an ambitious Business Development Executive.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional looking to take the next step in their career within a growing B2B environment. The business operates across multiple sectors nationwide and offers genuine progression into field-based sales for the right individual.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven individual to support internal sales growth while helping to enhance customer experience and commercial performance.
You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across an established portfolio.
This role would suit someone who is commercially minded, self-motivated, and eager to develop their career within a supportive and ambitious business.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business leads through outbound calls, emails, directories, and online platforms
- Reactivate lapsed customers and upsell existing accounts
- Build strong relationships by responding to enquiries and resolving customer concerns
- Demonstrate product benefits and introduce new product ranges
- Achieve agreed sales targets and performance objectives
- Maintain and update CRM records accurately
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Work collaboratively with account managers and the wider sales team
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in sales
- Minimum 2 years' experience in customer service
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confident using CRM systems and general IT software
- Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven
- Professional and presentable
