£55,000 + Bonus (£8k-£16k OTE) + Company Car

Remote / Field Based (Midlands/North UK)

Macildowie are working exclusively with a luxury client based in the Midlands to recruit for a commercially minded, relationship-driven Account Manager to represent a prestigious global brand known for its award-winning, premium products.

About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of approx. 50 retail accounts across the Midlands and North England. Your primary focus will be relationship management, brand advocacy, sales growth (up-selling) and product visibility.

You'll work closely with electrical retailers to deepen brand awareness, upskill in-store teams, and drive high-margin sales of innovative, luxury appliances. This role is perfect for a well-presented consultative sales professional from a luxury product/service environment who thrives on building long-term, trust-based partnerships. In terms of how far north you'd be expected to travel, there is quite a sizeable customer based in Carlisle that would need servicing regularly ... however, how far north does depend on how this person is able to develop the portfolio in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a national retail strategy aligned with global growth goals
  • Build and maintain deep relationships across electrical retail accounts
  • Deliver account plans and promotional strategies to increase market share
  • Be a visible, proactive brand ambassador - both in-store and digitally
  • Regular store visits across your territory (Mon-Thurs) with admin time on Fridays
  • Engage in strategic planning, reporting and internal cross-functional collaboration

Who are we looking for?
We're ideally looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in account management within luxury or premium consumer goods
  • Desirable: experience in account management in the electrical retail sector
  • Understands how to sell high-value products into independent or group retailers
  • Is confident analysing sales data, planning territory growth and delivering against targets
  • Possesses excellent communication and training skills to engage retail partners
  • Is well-organised with strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
  • Lives within commutable distance to the Midlands (due to the volume of customers here) - Nottingham, Derby, Leicester or surrounding areas. We will not dismiss anyone based in the East of England or North of England if you are willing to commute to the Midlands regularly.
