    Macildowie Supply Chain & Procurement is delighted to have collaborated with a reputable and growing construction organisation to recruit an Assistant Buyer.

    The key objective is liaise with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships whilst raising and issuing material and plant orders for all areas of the business.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Raise and issue orders based on specifications.
    • Maximise value to the client through maintaining a cost focus throughout procurement of materials.
    • Take ownership of supplier evaluation and performance management metrics.
    • Support the Head of Supply Chain and Senior Buyers in the procurement of works, delivery of sub-contract packages and associated reporting, which delivers customer priorities and ensure value is maximised.
    • Obtain and update delivery promise information to provide accurate delivery data to customers
    • Contribute towards both team and individual operational objectives and resultant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Introduce cost saving or process improvement solutions that show demonstrable benefits to established KPI's such as cost, quality and delivery adherence.


    The Candidate

    • Previous experience operating in a Procurement Administrator, Procurement Coordinator, Assistant Buyer or similar.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel.
    • Experience in either Engineering, Construction, Utilities, Civils or Infrastructures.
    • Able to commute to the Leicester office.
    • CIPS Level 3 or working towards CIPS.

    The key objective is to have commercial PowerBI experience including DAX and able to comfortably form key working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth and optimise performance.

    The key objective is to have practiced as a Business Analyst or Project Coordinator / Manager in a previous role.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Proactively working and communicating with stakeholders throughout the organisation to map business processes, user journeys and process flows and understand their needs to deliver solutions to meet project and business objectives.
    • Supporting clients and understanding data dependencies along with system or other project impacts.
    • Capture requirements from many different stakeholders, gathering metrics on current operations and have an ability to clearly articulate client pain points.

    Macildowie Data Analytics has collaborated with a well-established fleet management organisation to recruit a Data/BI Analyst to join our clients growing team in Leicester.


    The key objective is to be able to comfortably query SQL code and build user-engaging PowerBI dashboards.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business growth and optimise performance.
    • Uncover valuable trends, patterns, and opportunities within our extensive data sets.
    • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that enhance our strategic decision-making processes.
    • Collect, analyse, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to monitor key performance indicators and support decision-making processes.
    • Perform statistical analyses, data cleansing, and data validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to drive business growth, optimize operational efficiency, and improve customer experience.
    • Identify opportunities to automate data processes and implement data quality control measures.
    • Build dashboards using PowerBI whilst querying SQL code.


    The Candidate

    • Demonstrate solid SQL skills, including data cleansing and manipulation.
    • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience operating as a Data Analyst/BI Analyst or equivalent.
    • Proficiency in Data/BI analysis tools such as PowerBI, Excel and SQL.
    • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualisation techniques.
    • Familiarity with data management principles, data governance, and data quality standards.
    • Able to travel to the Leicester office.

    Macildowie Supply Chain is delighted to have partnered with a global organisation to recruit a Demand Planner.


    The key objective is to support and deliver Supply Chain objectives including supply planning and stock forecasting to meet the stock holding targets.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Work collaboratively with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure orders are shipped correctly and on time to achieve continuity of supply of products always ensuring 99% stock availability.
    • Partnering with fellow Supply Chain Planners and Coordinators to procure, transfer and produce to plan in a timely manner in line with co-manufacturing plans.
    • Manage the planning and ordering processes, ensuring minimum order quantity, stock levels and delivery dates are all achieved.
    • Continuously monitor stock holding and planning cycles within your portfolio, working with the wider business to ensure no residual inventory.
    • Track and manage supplier performance through regular reviews.
    • Monitoring and checking outstanding orders, ensuring all orders are updated and there are no overdue orders.
    • Correctly place purchase orders within necessary lead times to ensure material availability.
    • Forecast and manage material requirements in line with the demand pattern.


    The Candidate

    • Comfortably able to build working relationships with internal colleagues/wider group and external suppliers.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel.
    • A previous background of operations planning, coordination and demand planning.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Experience of Supply and/or Demand planning within a Supply Chain or Inventory Management role.
    • Exposure to SAP.
