PA/Office Manager
Job Description
My client is looking for a PA/Office Manager to join their business on a permanent basis.

Strong organisation, communication, and time management, plus proactive problem-solving, tech proficiency (MS Office, diary management), leadership/teamwork, and handling sensitive info with discretion and integrity, all while being adaptable and detail-oriented to manage budgets, facilities, and daily tasks efficiently.
General Office
- Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls.
- Maintain office supplies, stationery, toilet roll, soaps, milk, tea bags …
- Complete printer meter readings
- Electric meter readings for landlord
- Office maintenance - liaise with landlord
- Ordering IT equipment
- Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments. Many PAs control access to the manager/executive.
- Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation.
- Organising events and conferences.
- Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines.
- Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence.
- Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients.
- Collating and filing expenses.
- New starter induction and system support
- Health and Safety
Managing databases and filing systems
- Ensuring that weekly timesheets are completed (workflow max)
- Reporting to MD weekly on timesheets and utilisation
- Assisting with managing office budgets
- implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems - update company policies and procedures
- attending meetings with senior management
- assisting the organisation's HR and finance functions by keeping personnel records up to date, maintaining online systems (workflow max and BrightHR), and updating financial documents
The role is office based - working 37.5 hours a week.
Salary is circa £30,000 - £35,000.
