Location: Nottingham City Centre

Salary: Circa £27,000

Working Pattern: Office-based, full time

A well‑established Nottingham law firm is seeking a confident and highly organised Legal Secretary to join its busy Property Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced legal environment and enjoys being a key part of a supportive, professional team.

The Role

You'll provide high‑quality secretarial and administrative support to fee‑earners within the property team, helping ensure the smooth running of the department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, formatting, and amending legal documents
  • Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and coordinating meetings
  • Handling incoming calls and client enquiries professionally
  • Opening and closing files, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other third parties
  • Audio typing, digital dictation, and general administrative duties

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within property (residential or commercial)
  • Strong typing and document‑production skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • A proactive, professional, and client‑focused approach
  • Confidence working in an office‑based environment as part of a collaborative team
