Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Head of Group Reporting to join a leading global organisation. This is a high-profile leadership role, overseeing operational accounting across multiple regions, leading a team of approximately 20, and driving accuracy, transformation and continuous improvement across the function.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage a team of around 20 finance professionals, including 3 direct reports.
  • Take ownership of the year-end audit process, working closely with senior finance stakeholders.
  • Oversee monthly group reporting across a diverse portfolio of European entities.
  • Review and improve balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany processes.
  • Deliver accurate year-end roll forwards in SAP and produce payroll-related postings.
  • Drive automation and efficiency, particularly in banking and operational finance.
  • Ensure robust controls around banking authorisation and financial governance.
  • Lead the financial integration of acquisitions and support finance system rollouts.
  • Champion continuous improvement and support the delivery of global finance transformation initiatives.

What You'll Need:

  • Professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or demonstrably QBE.
  • Substantial experience in operational accounting leadership across international or multi-entity organisations.
  • Expertise in SAP and hands-on experience managing audits and group reporting processes.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage change and develop high-performing teams.
  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on innovation, process improvement and strategic delivery.
  • Ability to influence across functions.
