Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Loughborough - Hybrid
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and dynamic business for a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, providing accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
As Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Director by:
Preparing monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary, within agreed deadlines.
Managing month-end processes, including closing sales/purchase ledgers and posting accruals and prepayments.
Producing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and management packs for Board reporting.
Preparing cashflow forecasts and bank covenant reporting.
Monitoring daily sales, gross margins, FX positions and bank balances.
Managing the capital approval process and ensuring correct recognition of capital expenditure.
Holding monthly meetings with budget holders, providing insights and feedback to senior management.
Supporting audits with accurate reporting and documentation.
Assisting with ad-hoc projects and providing cover for the wider finance team when needed.
About You
We are looking for someone who is proactive, highly organised, and eager to make a positive impact. You will ideally have:
AAT qualification (or equivalent) and at least 2+ years' finance/accounting experience.
Strong Excel and IT skills, with the ability to analyse and present data effectively.
A methodical approach, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders across the business.
A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively within a busy finance function.
