Strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP), Derbyshire, £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, permanent
About the Role:
Macildowie Recruitment is excited to be partnering exclusively with a forward-thinking client in Derbyshire who is looking for a Strategic HR Business Partner to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), drive the people agenda, and make a real difference in a growing business.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Acting as a trusted HR representative to the SLT, supporting business strategy through people initiatives.
- Providing guidance to managers on all aspects of employee relations
- Leading and supporting organisational change initiatives, including restructures and workforce planning.
- Driving the people agenda, from performance management and talent development to succession planning and engagement.
- Using HR data and insights to support informed business decisions.
- Coaching and challenging managers to ensure best practice and compliance in people management.
- Act as a deputy for the HR Director where appropriate
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a strategic HR Business Partner, ideally in a complex or fast-paced environment within SME
- Strong employee relations expertise - confident handling investigations, disciplinary cases, and tricky situations.
- Confidence leading and guiding a team and stakeholder relationships
- Experience supporting organisational change and transformation projects.
- Ability to influence and challenge senior leaders while building strong relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- CIPD-qualified or equivalent professional HR experience.
