Group Reporting Manager
Location: Leicester (Hybrid working available)
Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits
The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Group Reporting Manager for a growing UK-based business headquartered in Leicester. This role is ideally suited to a second-time mover from a Top 10 accountancy practice looking to step into a senior visible reporting role with genuine ownership and progression.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will take responsibility for group consolidation statutory reporting and technical accounting across the group while playing a key role in strengthening reporting processes and supporting future growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of monthly half-year and annual group consolidated financial statements
Manage the year-end statutory reporting process and act as the main point of contact for external auditors
Own and maintain the group consolidation process including intercompany eliminations and reconciliations
Provide technical accounting support across the group (UK GAAP / IFRS as applicable)
Prepare and review statutory accounts disclosures and supporting papers
Support acquisitions restructurings and other group activity from a reporting and accounting perspective
Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes controls and systems
Mentor and develop junior members of the finance team
About You
ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Trained in a Top 10 accountancy practice
Currently in your second move from practice likely with experience in a group reporting financial reporting or technical accounting role
Strong knowledge of statutory reporting and group consolidations
Confident liaising with auditors and senior stakeholders
Detail-focused with the ability to operate in a deadline-driven environment
Ambitious proactive and looking for a long-term career path in industry
