    We're currently seeking a skilled and motivated Accounts Assistant for a part-time, temporary role with a minimum six-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a thriving finance team, with the flexibility of remote work and flexible hours.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Purchase Ledger Management: Oversee the purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices, reconciling statements, and managing supplier relationships.
    • Credit Control: Implement effective credit control procedures to manage and reduce outstanding debts, fostering positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • General Finance Support: Contribute to other aspects of finance, including assisting with financial reporting, expense management, and maintaining financial records.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in accounts, particularly in purchase ledger and credit control.

    • Provide detailed reporting on aged debt with insightful commentary and take proactive actions to resolve and reduce outstanding debt.

    • Conduct monthly sales/invoicing reconciliations and assist with bank reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
    • Process accounts payable invoices through AP software.
    • Set up and process supplier payment runs, sending remittances to suppliers.
    • Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
    • Handle the processing of credit card expenses.
    • Assist with payroll processing, including reconciling and journals.
    • Support month-end tasks and contribute to year-end audit processes.
    • Undertake other administrative tasks to support the wider head office team.

    About You:

    • Previous experience using Xero is highly desirable.

    Macildowie are excited to be working alongside a company based in Nottingham. The organisation are actively seeking a well organised and switched on individual to join the team as an Administrator to support the business.

The organisation is a leading manufacturer based in Nottingham that prides itself on a great working culture. Due to it being a busy time of the year, the team are looking for someone to join the team in an admin capacity to support in communications and events planning.

    This is a temporary, full-time position working Monday to Friday with 40 hours a week on a flexible basis. This position will be for a minimum of 2/3 months but has the potential to be extended. The business also offers a hybrid-working model of 3 days on site and the rest of the week can be from the comfort of your home.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide support across all functions and channels with day-to-day admin tasks.
    • Inputting and updating data in the CRM system.
    • Being responsible for external facing communications.
    • Supporting on events by liaising with venues in the run-up and on the day.
    • Assist in the creation, formatting, and proofreading of materials.
