    • Perform general ledger cashbook posting and bank reconciliations.
    • Assist with prepayments, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Manage warranty claim reconciliations.
    • Prepare hourly paid payroll and related control account reconciliations.
    • Oversee expenses and credit card functions.
    • Support the purchase ledger clerk with complex queries and supplier statement reconciliations.
    • Provide holiday cover for other team members, including sales and purchase ledger tasks.
    • Assist in the implementation of new business systems and additional technology across the finance function.
    • Lead or support ad hoc tasks and projects for the Management Accountant and Financial Controller.

    What you're like…

    • 2-3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
    • Part or fully AAT Qualified
    • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry would be beneficial (but not essential)
    • Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft.
    • Excellent organisation and time management skills, being able to prioritise your own workload and respond to competing priorities while supporting the team during busier periods
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
