    Key Responsibilities:

    • Invoice Processing: Match, batch, and code invoices and proofs of delivery with precision.
    • Supplier Queries: Resolve supplier queries and address GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) issues efficiently.
    • Reconciliations: Perform statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
    • Payment Runs: Prepare payment runs and month-end information in a timely manner.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high performance and quality standards.
    • Cross-Department Communication: Confidently communicate across all departments within the business.

    My client a family owned organisation is looking to strengthen their team by recruiting a Transport Administrator to support their Transport Team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Reporting to the Logistics Manager
    • Supporting the Commercial Director with transport based administration
    • Processing transport invoices
    • Responsible for administration of driver and vehicle paperwork
    • Cover for the Logistics Manager in their absence
    • Create management reports as and when required
    • To assist in the operation and management of the company weighbridge
    • Assisting in the management of driver schedules and routes
    • Communicating with drivers and internal and external stakeholders on schedules and work planning
    • To assist in the administration of fleet maintenance
    • Able to be on cover for out of hours phone calls and contact on a rota basis
    • Occasional weekend work at busy periods
    • Clean full driving licence

    EXPERIENCE

    • Previous experience with transport Administration, and a solid understanding of vehicle documents and industry regulations
    • Conscientious and keen problem solver with an eye for detail
    • Good standard of English and Maths
    • Adaptable within a fast paced environment with good team building skills

    CORE CAPABILITIES

    • Must have excellent attention to detail.
    • Good basic IT skills, must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
    • The ability to problem-solve.
    • Strong data entry skills
    • Good communication abilities at all levels
    • The ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
    • Good multi-tasking skills
    • Ensuring right first-time culture
    • Confident, professional and tenacious

    Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week basic over 5 days, overtime required at busy periods.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Salary: £13:00 per hour, plus overtime

    Holiday: 31 days (including Bank and Public Holidays)

    Ability to commute/relocate to Bilsthorpe

    Work Location: In person
